How the work is made
It starts with colour
A stone, a bead, or a scrap of something set aside months ago.
It gets built slowly
Usually over several evenings. Sometimes it is unpicked and started again.
It gets shown to Mum
The first opinion, and the one that counts most.
It is finished when it stops asking
Not when a schedule says so.
